• All are borosilicate glass (low coefficient expansion).

FLASKS:
- A Boiling type has a round bottom and long narrow neck.
- A Distilling type has a round bottom with side tube extending from neck.
- A Filtering type is a conical with sidearm tube extending from neck.
- A Conical or Erlenmeyer type has a narrow neck.
