WASHER UNIT: for Burettes (and pipettes)
Price range: $ 21.90 through $ 398.00 excl. GST
• A quality Burette Washer Unit system used to soak, clean and rinse burettes, pipettes or reusable glass, utilizing 4x main components that work together:
1) Soak Jar : A deep, leak-proof Soak Jar that can be filled with cleaning detergent or soaking solution to help dissolve residue and loosen stubborn debris from unclean burettes.
2) Basket + 3) Extension Handle : A perforated basket design with a soft bottom base requiring handle extensions to allow a safe buffer for burettes and to minimize tip breakage. The basket is transferred directly from the Soaking Jar into the Burette Washer Unit where continuous water flows, filling and siphoning out automatically for several cycles until burettes are residue-free.
4) Washer Unit: This is connected to a water source to automatically fill from the top, submerging and rinsing the burettes. Once full, it activates an automatic siphon that rapidly drains the contaminated water and refills the chamber. The water inlet can be switched to a deionized water source which is often used for a final high-purity rinse.

(Wikipedia excerpt: "...A water bath [WB] is laboratory equipment made from a container filled with heated water. It is used to incubate samples in water at a constant temperature over a long period of time. Most [WB] have a digital or an analogue interface to allow users to set a desired temperature, but some [WB] have their temperature controlled by a current passing through a reader. Uses include warming of reagents, melting of substrates, determination of boiling point, or incubation of cell cultures. It is also used to enable certain chemical reactions to occur at high temperature. [WB] are preferred heat sources for heating flammable chemicals, as their lack of open flame prevents ignition.[1] Different types of [WB] are used depending on application. For all [WB] , it can be used up to 99.9°C (degrees Celsius).[2][3] When the required temperature is above 100°C (degrees Celsius), alternative methods such as oil bath, silicone oil bath or sand bath may be used.[4] ...").
