SPEED CONTROL: Variable voltage, 1V to 3V/DC
For Miniature Electric Motors.
It’s hard to vary the speed of the miniature motors used as rippler motors on ripple tanks etc.
Running the motors at a higher than normal voltage, or at the correct voltage but with insufficient current, invariably causes them to stop working or burn out (normal run voltage is between 1 and 3-volts).
This speed control connects to any 12-volt AC/DC power pack and supplies a variable voltage of between 1 to 3-volts/DC at adequate current allowing a wide variation in motor speed without reducing torque.
