Roll a metal sphere slowly into three spheres resting centrally on a horizontal track with ends touching each other. Watch as the last sphere takes off with increased velocity showing the the system somehow has gained energy!

Materials supplied: 1x Track, 2x wooden blocks, 5x metal spheres (2.0 cm), 1x magnetic metal sphere (2.0 cm). Safety glasses recommended, but not provided.
Note: Track has several different orientations: straight; raised 4.0 cm on either or both ends; and raised 6.0 cm on either or both ends.
