MODEL SKULLS: Wildlife skull identification forensic set

Similar to solving a “human” forensic case, a wildlife case requires an interdisciplinary approach of specialists who collaborate with one another and employ similar investigative methods. Input is provided by specialists in ecology, veterinary medicine, zoology, osteology, toxicology, pathology, genetics, radiology, conservationists, law enforcement, the wildlife forensic investigators themselves, and others. The basis of all forensic work is careful examination and documentation of evidence so it can be reliably communicated to a court of law. This lab will guide students through this process with these skull models.
