This high voltage electronic induction coil (no moving parts) produces a spark up to an 80 mm long – [approx.] 18kV DC.
Easier to set up and use compared to traditional mechanical induction coils.
Has a variable control to alter the output voltage (length of spark) and a reversing switch to change polarity of spark.
It can be used as a power source for demonstration cathode ray tubes, spectrum tubes and for electrostatics experiments requiring a voltage higher than a 6kV power supply will produce.
