Description
Heating Mantle
These are used to uniformly heat various round bottom vessels. They are ideal for continuous distillations.
These ‘C’ certified Joan Lab Heating Mantles are fiberglass insulated round bottom flask heaters for laboratory applications.
The exterior has a plastic-coated metal casing with a pre-moulded fiberglass liner to hold the round-bottom flasks.
Consists of a chrome-nickel alloy resistance wire, which is electrically insulated using a crocheted high-temperature yarn.
The adapted shape ensures an even heat transition to the glass flask, and a layer of fiberglass insulation under the heating element reduces heat dissipation to increase efficiency.
The Heating Mantle requires the probe being suspended in a liquid inside a flask to keep consistent temperature.
Bottom opening accommodates round bottom and pear-shaped flasks.
Flexible fiberglass heating element for uniform heat distribution.
Durable plastic-coated chemical resistant metal housing.
Operating temperature up to 380 DegC.
Digital Temperature Control.
