•  This Dutch Metal Foil is priced for a pack of 5 gold leaf sheets 140 x 145mm.
•  A highly ductile and malleable yellowish brass colour simulating gold .
•  The copper percentage ranges from 85 to 88, the remainder being zinc where the higher the zinc content, the paler the colour becomes.
•  Used in bronzing and in preparing imitation gold leaf.
•  Gilding with Dutch metal is far less costly than gilding with gold, but the coating of Dutch metal tarnishes rapidly unless its lacquer coated.
